Is there a way to automatically adjust both the top and bottom(width) of my layout? As in the space above the header & below the footer. Rather than messing around with both of them to try and get it to match. I know I have my lj on FO but you can see it more on my friends page, if needed.

Creo que nunca lo he comentado por aquí, pero me encantan los anuncios de comida para gatos, especialmente los de Brekkies Excel, y es que se nota muchísimo que quienes los han hecho tienen gatos. XD Hace un tiempo había este, que me gustaba mucho:


Es que los gatos son así. Tal cual. XD Lo que me mató especialmente es la parte en que se pone a revolcarse sobre la ropa recién planchada, porque creo que no hay gato en el mundo que pueda resistirse a eso. XD

Ayer vi que habían hecho un anuncio nuevo que no he podido encontrar en Youtube (a ver si en los próximos días alguien lo sube y lo puedo poner aquí) que también me hizo mucha gracia, y que muestra a una serie de gatos saltando por los aires junto a sus dueños (dice algo así como "celebra lo mucho que les quieres", igual ya lo habéis visto). Los de Brekkies Excel tienen la extraña y muy poco frecuente capacidad de dejarme sonriendo estúpidamente con sus anuncios... lo cual es bastante embarazoso cuando estoy viéndolos con alguien más. XD

A todo esto, hay que decir que a mis gatos no les compro Brekkies Excel, ni la marca en cuestión me paga por haber escrito este post aunque pueda parecer lo contrario. XD Simplemente me gustan sus anuncios. Mis gatos se alimentan a base de marcas blancas, que además son las que más les gustan (por suerte para mi bolsillo ^^U).

It comes to my attention that a lot of people don't know how to save images to their computers, upload them to an image host, and then change the links in their style sheets to point towards their new images.

This tutorial is done using Photobucket as an image host example. It is also done using a Mac, but I will note the PC equivalents where possible. Image heavy.

I love the images in the header menu used in layouts like this and this - but I have only ever found them in Flexi Squares or Minimalism layouts. Is it possible to translate the code for these so that it works in Smooth Sailing, as well? If so, would you be able to give me the basic descriptors?

Problem you are having: I would like to have my mootheme icon appear before the mood text and I looked around for tutorials on it and whatnot but so far only found something for theme layers which I don't have as I am in s2 basic? I think there must be a way to alter this but I seem to be lacking the exact code for it! Any help please?

Hopefully by now you've noticed that my Photobucket account is back up; as I'd said multiple times in the previous entry, the issue isn't an inability to pay for a pro account, it's that I'd like to be able to choose not to. In each post I encourage everyone to upload the images to their own image hosts. This helps two fold: one, that you're not held hostage if my account exceeds its bandwidth limits, and two, that it reduces the strain on my own account. I've currently purchased three months of pro status, expiring on October 4, 2009. Save your images while you still can!

There are some changes afoot here at The Fulcrum. The most major is that over the next few months, I'll be archiving everything over to my personal website in order to make it easier for people to use search functions to find what they're looking for as well as so that I can have more control over how information is archived. It will also (hopefully) give me the opportunity to provide live previews in a more expanded way. I was doing them for a while but gave up because of the hassle; if things go as planned, each and every layout will have live previews for not just the main journal view, but all the other page views as well.

Anyone who follows my regular journal knows that my creative exploits have veered quite far from computer-related endeavours in the last few months and that's not likely to change in the near future because, well, I'm having too much fun. The frequency with which new layouts are added to this community might decrease, but I'm trying to compensate by making it more user friendly.

Problem you are having: Before I upgraded to Firefox 3.5, my tag section looked like this. Then, after installing Firefox 3.5, my tag section now looks like this. I did not change anything in the code I was using before (which was just a tweaked version of the original code provided by LJ). My tag section looks the same when viewed in Flock. Could it be that the new Firefox requires a different code?

Está como una cabra, de verdad que sí. u_u Lo atribuiría a la edad, porque el hombre ya tiene unos años respetables, pero es que hace diez y quince años también decía cosas así. No hay excusas que valgan, es que está mal de la cabeza y punto. No es que no lo supiera ya, pero no deja de ser desconcertante cuando lo confirma de vez en cuando. XD
